Barco began in 1929
by Morris Barker providing
uniforms for the residential and
beauty professionals. 		Barco was the first to introduce nylon to the
Uniform Industry during the war years 1941-1943
with style # 110. This industry first, being made
of 100% nylon gave a more feminine appearance.		 Barco introduced fashion separates, a white's concept, under the
Work Force label in 1980. This was a multiple purpose line that sold
separately to create a wardrobe by combining different pieces together.

Suits to the Uniform Industry; which

LA Times newspaper in 1970.

In 1950's, Barco introduces the newest and latest
fibers from the Dupont Corp. Fabric and yarn that
was used in fashion was brought to nurses uniforms.		 Kenneth Donner honored for 50
years accomplishment in the
professional apparel industry.
